Alex is certainly going to be one of my go-to recruiters (a short list!) if I’m looking to move in future. When I started searching, he listened to what I wanted and presented relevant roles – it wasn’t just a case of putting 100 job titles in front of me, the specifics of the role had clearly been considered. There was no attempt to pressure me to apply when I had concerns or didn’t want something. He simply answered concerns logically (even sometimes acknowledging the role may not fit) and provided me with more information so I could decide, which is exactly how the candidate/recruiter relationship should work in my eyes. Communication during the interview process was also excellent – I never had to chase regarding what was going on, or ask for any clarifications. Even when rejected, there was quick communication and feedback – not the approach some take of having no contact until another role comes up.
