Our client, a leading insurer, is expanding its Home Pricing team and is looking for a Senior Technical Pricing Analyst who thrives on data, modelling, and solving real‑world pricing challenges. If you enjoy working with complex datasets, building predictive models, and influencing commercial decisions, this role offers the perfect next step.
What You’ll Do
- Build and refine pricing models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Shape Home pricing strategy to support growth and profitability.
- Analyse model performance, run back‑testing, and recommend improvements.
- Lead your own technical projects and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Explore new data sources and contribute to innovation across the pricing function.
- Share knowledge and help elevate analytical capability across the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong grounding in GLMs and familiarity with machine learning methods like GBMs.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, SAS, Databricks, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with Radar and Emblem.
- Understanding of technical pricing components and actuarial assumptions.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
