Are you and experienced insurance Retail Pricing Analyst looking to step into a senior pricing role where your analysis directly influences growth, profitability and customer outcomes? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated retail pricing team, delivering high‑impact pricing models and initiatives that drive conversions, retention and sustainable business performance.
In this role, you’ll work with teams across multiple product lines to build optimisation models, analyse customer behaviour, market and competitor trends to inform data‑driven decisions. You’ll also play a key part in shaping the long‑term strategy for retail pricing, helping to strengthen capability and embed best‑practice modelling across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Retail Pricing Analyst, you will:
- Develop, validate and review behavioural models, incorporating machine learning and testing new techniques to improve predictive performance
- Build, maintain and support deployment of pricing models across retail products
- Lead price optimisation activity, enhancing existing processes and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Combine MI, modelling outputs and business targets to form a balanced view of pricing performance now and in the future
- Influence senior management and key departmental leads on pricing decisions and performance strategy
Skills & Experience Required
- Hands‑on experience with retail pricing and/or price optimisation techniques and frameworks (e.g. Conversion & Retention propensity modelling, Market modelling, LTV and Elasticity modelling)
- Technical proficiency with tools such as Emblem, Radar, Python, Databricks or similar
- Strong programming skills (e.g. SAS) and confidence handling large datasets
- Experience of predictive modelling approaches such as GLMs, GBMs, GAMs, Decision Trees, Random Forests, SVMs or Neural Networks
