Interview Placement at a 3:1 ratio for ‘Technical Pricing Manager’
Asked to assist with the recruitment of a Technical Pricing Manager for a leading UK Personal Lines insurer, we were able to deliver a tailored shortlist of immensely qualified candidates, keen to explore the role.
This role had a narrow remit, in terms of required experience candidates must demonstrate. All were required to have deep knowledge of Technical Pricing, hands-on experience of building predictive models for claims frequency and severity, and ideally for UK personal lines products. The only real flexibility was whether these models were statistical/GLM, or using Machine Learning techniques such as GBM’s, and what tools were used (either Emblem/Radar or Python).
Over the course of three weeks mapping the market, we presented the top four screened and qualified candidates, of whom three were invited to interview, giving a 1.3 to 1 CV submission to interview ratio.
The successful candidate considered this role a great next step in their career, and the insurer was able to successfully fill what can be a tricky vacancy, in a timely and efficient manner.
