Our client is looking for two Principal Technical Pricing Analysts to join either the Motor or Home Technical Pricing teams. This is your chance to work on sophisticated pricing strategies using both traditional approaches and advanced machine learning techniques, while enjoying world-class training and career development opportunities
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of technical pricing models using GLMs (Emblem) and GBMs (Python)
- Drive innovation by introducing new data sources and advanced analytics into the pricing approach
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives and deliver clear, actionable insights
- Mentor junior analysts and deputise for the manager when needed
- Contribute to pricing structures and strategies that achieve growth and profitability goals
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of statistical modelling (GLMs) and machine learning (GBMs) for technical pricing (claims frequency & severity and peril modelling)
- Hands-on experience with large datasets and tools like Python, SQL, SAS, Databricks.
- Familiarity with WTW’s Radar and Emblem
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build strong relationships across teams and influence stakeholders
